Backed by leading private and institutional investors it has already raised significant capital to invest material amounts in Nature Recovery in the UK and beyond. It intends to be one of the global leaders in the emerging Natural Capital sector whilst helping to solve the twin challenges of biodiversity loss and climate change.

The Chief Commercial Officer will be responsible for developing and delivering Nattergal’s eco-system services, related commercialisation strategy and be the driving force behind business growth. Reporting to the CEO with direct Board access the CCO will be responsible for identifying and developing revenue streams primarily associated with the creation of environmental additionality i.e. biodiversity, carbon and other service credits.

We are looking for an experienced CCO with a strong track record of selling at senior levels within large corporates, demonstrable success delivering significant business growth and an innovative approach to commercial strategy. The ability to thrive in a high-growth, early-stage organisation is essential, and knowledge of voluntary environmental credit markets would be advantageous.

This is a ‘roll your sleeves up’ position that will require firm alignment with the mission and values of the company and a strong interest in nature and the environment.
