As their Head of Carbon Asset Development, you will have primary responsibility for turning reforestation opportunities into registered and validated carbon removal projects.

The Role at a Glance:

Lead the carbon asset development activities Lead all technical analysis of new and existing restoration forestry carbon projects Manage a growing team working on carbon asset development workstreams Coordinate with in-country project development and forestry execution

About You:

  • Proven track record in forestry carbon project development or verification within a project developer, consultancy, standard-setting body or VVB
  • Strong working understanding of carbon standards and methodologies
  • Hands-on experience of the full validation process and familiar with project design documentation for Verra submission
  • An understanding of the social dimensions of forestry projects
