Project Manager - Smart Building Technology and Sustainability Services

Our rapidly expanding client is actively seeking a Project Manager with expertise in Smart Building Technology and Energy Meter Installations to join their company during a period of substantial growth.

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary, approximately GBP40,000 to GBP55,000.

The role is fully remote, with the requirement to visit client sites 1-2 times per week (across the UK).

As a Project Manager, your core responsibilities encompass the planning, execution, and successful conclusion of projects related to energy meter installation, smart building technology, and sustainability services. You will oversee all facets of the project, from initial planning to final commissioning.

Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with the software development team to ensure that project functionality aligns with requirements and is delivered within established timeframes and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Act as a liaison with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Lead and manage the project team, ensuring timely and cost-effective task completion.
• Identify and proactively address project-related risks.
• Efficiently resolve project issues and challenges.
• Foster effective communication among all project stakeholders.
• Ensure that projects meet the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with the software development team to ensure functionality aligns with requirements and is delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Strong comprehension of energy efficiency and sustainability principles.
• Hands-on experience with energy meter installation and commissioning.
• Proficiency in smart building technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and project management software.

Desired Skills and Experience:
