ESG Reporting Manager

ESG Reporting Manager - Permanent - Speciality Chemicals - North West Our client is a leading global speciality chemicals business. At present, they are seeking an ESG Reporting Manager at their site based in the North West, UK. This role would ideally suit somebody from a financial reporting background who are interested to utilise their experience within Environmental, Social and Governance reporting. Experience: Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, Business Solid understanding of ESG reporting and disclosure requirements (legal/standards) and trends, some experience of successfully preparing ESG reports preferred. Strong interpersonal and an ability to work with senior stakeholders and leaders, build rapport across functional boundaries as well as people of diverse backgrounds Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of external annual ESG reports Oversee the annual ESG data collection process, ensuring that data is timely and accurate. Work with auditors to assure annual ESG reports Annually review ESG criteria against TCFD, USA SEC and EU CSRD standards Identify, advise on and implement new ESG reporting and disclosure practices Maintain a current knowledge base of current and proposed legislation which could impact on ESG reporting standards and practices Work with ESG business teams, Finance, IT, L&C, HR and Corporate SHE to implement improvements for their ESG reporting Ensure that key personnel across the company are aware of their responsibilities and accountabilities regarding ESG reporting providing training and support where needed Work with business supply chain and legal on upcoming Supplier Due diligence regulations Work with business supply chain to ensure compliance to EU deforestation regulations Assist the VP Global Regulatory Compliance, with the development of the company s strategies for ESG reporting
