Senior Climate Risk Modeller

This scale-up tech-science firm has recently received Series A funding and is growing rapidly towards the next round of investment. They are developing a unique modelling and analytics platform to help international corporations assess their risks and opportunities presented by rising temperatures, climate-related policy, and emerging technologies in our changing world.

We are looking for an advanced modeller to help enhance and expand the modelling of climate risk scenarios and transition risks. This will include interpreting the social and economic science of climate change, and developing analytical models which translate this for business applications, in terms of assessing the financial impacts to a business.

You will hold an advanced degree in a numerical subject with familiarity with climate-related transition risks and climate scenarios (e.g. SSPs, IEA, NGFS). You will have experience with Python (preferred) or other modelling languages and excellent data science, statistics, and analysis skills.
