Job Title: Group Sustainability Analyst Business Area: Lucy Group Ltd Location: Oxford Job Purpose We are seeking a Sustainability Analyst to join our Oxford-based team to provide a focal point for the collation and reporting of sustainability data from across the Group and working as part of a small team, responsible for the analysis of raw data and acting as the Group s technical expert on the reporting frameworks and systems utilised to provide advice and guidance to system users Job Context Lucy Group is implementing a Sustainable Development Framework based on the UNs Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to improve and reduce our negative impacts on society, environment, and economy. Currently, sustainability activates are conducted as individual elements within the various management systems employed and reported accordingly. A network of sustainability champions is being created to gather specific information focused on the Group s selected SDGs. This role will require development to produce data and systems that accurately track performance against the selected Goals and will expand to aid in delivering wider initiatives. Job Dimensions This role will support the Group s Head of Health Safety and Sustainability in delivering the Group s wider sustainability aspirations by collating, analysing, and reporting data and closely working with the Group s sustainability champions in each business entity, based internationally Key Accountabilities Co-ordinate the collation of data at the Group level within the specified time frames. Acting as the LOX and Lucy Real Estate sustainability champion. Completing data analysis and reporting to produce monthly, quarterly, and annual sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders. Undertake the data analysis of the Group GHG inventories to identify trends and opportunities for operational improvement using carbon accounting software. Identify poor data quality issues within databases and work with business entities to improve the efficiency of data capture. Liaising with business entities to support Sustainability objectives. Providing subject matter expertise on reporting frameworks and data systems. Contribute to the development of sustainability assessment tools and dashboards to improve efficiency and accuracy. Contribute to sustainability initiatives. Assist in the development of environmental management at Group level. Support with the preparation of sustainability reporting in accordance with globally recognised matrix as directed Advising of gaps and improvement opportunities in sustainability metrics reporting.Qualifications, Experience & Skills Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience: Essential: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Previous experience in data analysis and reporting. Advanced spreadsheet capabilities and ability to learn new technology platforms. Ability to analyse and present complex data sets with good knowledge of spreadsheets and other analytical software platforms. Poses an understanding of implementing sustainability. Self-motivated with an ability to work independently as well as within a team. Show strong analytical skills and high attention to detail. Have a passion for sustainability and the environment.Desirable: Environmental based Bachelor's degree IEMA Foundation/Certificate in Environmental Management or similar qualification. Knowledge of carbon accounting software. Familiarity with corporate environmental and sustainability reporting protocols, such as GRI, CDP, etc Knowledge of UN Sustainable Development Goals
