Here at Vitality, we have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Sustainability Coordinator. We want someone who thrives in interpreting data effectively, can produce end-to-end Sustainability projects and activities to help reduce our impact on the environment, and coordinate the implementation of our ISO14001 accreditation. The role will be based in our Bournemouth office on a hybrid basis with home-working, there may be flexibility on this. Your responsibilities as our Sustainability Coordinator will include: Sustainability Collecting and analysing sustainability data for Vitality s carbon emissions to be produced and reported Measuring and reporting against monthly carbon reduction targets Managing the data collection and reporting process for the Streamlined Energy Carbon Report (SECR) and Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS). Additionally, monthly reporting of data to the parent company, Discovery Delivering sustainability improvement projects and activities across the UK portfolio in accordance with the Property and Sustainability strategy and plans Researching, selecting, and implementing a data management system to support the collection and governance of Vitality s sustainability data Environmental Supporting the team manager in the development, ongoing management, and compliance of the EMS Coordinating and undertaking audits of the ISO 14001 to ascertain the level of compliance across the estate Developing and coordinating the non-conformance register Working with the quality (and other) teams to ascertain any areas of cross-departmental efficiencies in the delivery ISO programs What we re looking for in our Sustainability Coordinator: Essential Experience developing, maintaining, and/or managing sustainability-based initiatives, processes, or programs involving the collection, analysis, and reporting of program data is required An analytical approach to using data to enhance sustainability and environmental performance Experience of delivering property-related sustainability projects Experience of Environmental management systems Experience of auditing (preferably ISO 14001) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good presentation skills PC literate and competent in all relevant MS applications, i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint A passion for creating a sustainable future Desirable Degree level qualification in Sustainability or related subject Experience of delivering property-related sustainability projects Experience working with sustainability or environmental programs in financial services Working for Vitality, you'll experience an exciting mix of creativity and innovation, within a framework of challenging objectives and a passion for delivering the best.
